Florfenicol Oral Solution 30%

It is indicated for infections caused by Gram positive and Gram negative microorganisms, such as Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp., Salmonella spp., Escherichia coli, Streptococcus spp., Clostridium spp. and Mycoplasma.

INDICATIONS:
It is indicated for infections caused by Gram positive and Gram negative microorganisms, such as Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp., Salmonella spp., Escherichia coli, Streptococcus spp., Clostridium spp. and Mycoplasma.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:
In drinking water use. 
Poultry: 10 mg of Florfenicol / kg bw / day for 3 to 5 consecutive days 

CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Do not use in boars intended for breeding purposes. Studies in rats have revealed evidence of potential adverse effects on the male reproductive system.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipient.

SIDE EFFECTS:
A slight reduction of water consumption by the animals, dark brown faeces and constipation may be observed during treatment.
Very commonly observed adverse effects are diarrhoea and/or peri-anal and rectal erythema/oedema which may affect approximately 40% of the animals. These effects are transient. In a few of the affected animals, prolapse of the rectum, that resolves without treatment may be observed.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat and offal: 5 days. 
Not for use in birds producing or intended to produce eggs for human consumption.

STORAGE:
Store below 25℃. Protect from light.

SHELF-LIFE:
36 months.
