Doxycycline Hyclate and Tylosin Tartrate Oral Powder

Gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by tylosin and doxycycline sensitive micro-organisms, like Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus and Treponema spp. in calves, goats, poultry, sheep and swine.

INDICATIONS:
Gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by tylosin and doxycycline sensitive micro-organisms, like Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus and Treponema spp. in calves, goats, poultry, sheep and swine.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:
For oral administration.
Calves, goats and sheep:
Twice daily, 5 g per 100 kg body weight for 3 - 5 days.
The required amount of preparation is dissolved in drinking water, or a substitute already and is administered by means of the bottle or mixed with a small amount of food twice a day.
Poultry and swine:
1 kg per 1000 - 2000 litres of drinking water for 3 - 5 days.
Fresh solution is prepared daily. During the entire treatment period, young animals and poultry should only be given water which contains preparation.
Note: for pre-ruminant calves, lambs and kids only.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines and/or tylosin.
Administration to animals with a seriously impaired hepatic function.
Concurrent administration of penicillins, cephalosporins, quinolones and cycloserine.
Administration to animals with an active microbial digestion

SIDE EFFECTS:
Discoloration of teeth in young animals.
Hypersensitivity reactions.
Diarrhoea may occur.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
For meat:
Calves, goats and sheep: 14 days.
Swine: 8 days.
Poultry: 7 days.
Not for use in animals from which milk or eggs are produced for human consumption.

STORAGE:
Store below 30℃, in a dry place and protect from light.

SHELF-LIFE:
36 months.
